1st Place for Vermont in the 36th Annual Congressional Art Competition.
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.
In 2017, I became the winner for the state of Vermont. With being the winner, I was invited to Washington DC for an awards ceremony and had my art piece displayed in The Capitol’s Cannon Tunnel for an entire year.
I was the first from my high school to win this competition since the 1980’s.
