JOCELYN PIKE

Heavily influenced by the vibrant colors and bold lines of mid-20th century pop art, paired with a profound love for textures and patterns, Pike’s work stands out by utilizing limited color palettes, discovering new ways to create dimension. While their pieces that may appear simple at first glance, a second look never fails to draw the viewer into noticing a more complex body of work.

Beyond their skill set in digital and vector artwork, their traditional & fine arts toolkit is extensive, ranging from various painting disciplines to an array of hands-on fiber arts, often specializing in experimental yarn work.

Designer, Illustrator, and Mixed Media Artist

From the artist: β€œI truly feel like I’m doing my job as an artist if the work manages to tell a story, or invoke a sincere emotional response. That’s where my sense of accomplishment comes from.”

The Semi-Boring But Useful Information

Originally a native of Kansas City, Missouri, Pike was able to further hone their skills and passion for art after moving to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont in 2009.

While studying at the Lyndon Institute, they earned a specialized Art Courses Diploma in 2018.

Going on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts for Illustration in 2023, Pike’s studies at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design expanded their repertoire, and gave them the opportunity to work hands-on in a variety of traditional art mediums.

Part of this degree study included a period abroad learning studio art techniques at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, UK.
